Coursera is a global online learning platform that offers anyone, anywhere access to online courses and degrees from world-class universities and companies. With Coursera you can:
Explore different career paths

Boost your resumé by earning professional certificates & micro-credentials
Choose from 11 different subject areas including computer science, business, arts & humanities, and more!
Work at your own pace - Choose from courses that can be completed in as little as 2 hours or that take up to 6 months to complete.
Students are encouraged to consider completing a micro-credential program.
A micro-credential program is a focused, short-term online learning experience that allows students to gain specific skills and knowledge in a particular subject area.
Micro-credentials are valuable credentials recognized by industry professionals and employers.
To set-up your Coursera account, complete these steps below. You may watch the video as well to help you navigate these steps.
Visit Coursera.org
Click on "Log In."
When logging in for the first time, select "Sign Up" on the "Welcome Back" window.
Enter your name, KS email, and password.
Once your account has been created, next time you login to Coursera you can click on the "Continue with Google" link.
Click on "Categories" to view different subject areas and topics.
Use the filters to find a course that works with your schedule and needs.
Click on the course to view more information. Pay attention to the start date, the length of time to complete, and the type of schedule. You can also look through the modules to see the topics that will be covered and the types of materials that comprise the module.
Click on "Enroll" when you are ready to enroll.
The course will be automatically added to the "My Courses" section on the home page.
When you're ready to start the course, click on the course then click on "Get Started."
If you're not quite ready to enroll, consider saving the course so you can find it easily at another time. This will add it to the "Saved Courses" section that's under "My Courses" on the home page.
Click on your name in the top right corner.
Click on "Accomplishments."
Click on the "Course Name."
Here you can download a PDF copy of your certificate.
You can also post your certificate to your LinkedIn profile.
Each student and their Parent/Guardian must read and complete the Keauākea Coursera Program Agreement Form in order to participate in Keauākea. Please submit the signed agreement to your Kūkoa instructor or the HS administration building by December 19.
Approved students will enroll in Coursera in January 2024.

This form is intended for students who wish to participate in KS Digital online courses. These course offerings provide students choice, flexibility, and personalization to earn course credits through distance learning with highly qualified Kamehameha Schools (KS) educators or external partners who specialize in digital education.
Students who enroll in online courses will be held to all Kamehameha Schools academic and behavioral standards, and the expectations outlined in this agreement form.
