For a long time we were looking for a suitable place for the Ashram. A plot that would meet many requirements. We decided on a location in the south of Poland, where there is the largest group of Kriyavans. Krakow, one could say, is the cradle of Kriya Yoga in Poland. It was here, many years ago, that Hariharananda flew in with his disciple Pragnananda, accompanied by Peter Baba.
It so happened that the village of Tłuchan is located in the municipality of Wadowice, where Pope John Paul II came from.
The plot we chose is 1.68ha and is completely sufficient for our needs.
Keeping in mind the requirements and development of the project, we decided to renovate the old house that is on the plot to serve as a mini-ashram for the construction of the new building. You can find more information about the renovation on this page under the “old ashram” tab.
