Students learned about swatch watches from the 80's and various artists. They selected an artist to base their watch on. They all created a large swatch watch in a style of the artist they chose.

Students learned about Neougraphic art and created an art piece of emotion and feeling. They created lines and patterns by focusing on a certain emotion, then painted by blending colors.

Students learned about Ancient Egypt, Pharaohs and Portraits. Each student created a Pharaoh Portrait and wrote their name in hieroglyphs in the boarder.

Students learned about the Japanese Artist Hokusai and warm/cool colors. Each student created a wave inspired by the artist's artwork. They used oil pastels and watercolor paint to color their artwork.

Students learned about the painting "The Scream" by Edvard Muinch. They drew the landscpae of the painting and added themselves in screaming. Each student wrote about a fear they have.

In celebration for Black History Month, students learned about artist Faith Ringgold, cityscapes and read the book, "Tar Beach." Each student created their own Cityscape with paper collage.
