Shameran Jamal Salih Salihy

Welcome to my Academic Profile page. My name is Shameran Jamal Salih. I am an Assistant Professor teaching in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Health at Koya University, Kurdistan Region, F.R. Iraq. 

I have a B.Sc. degree in Chemistry, an M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry and Ph.D.  in Nanotechnology and Materials Science.

 My research focuses on the design, synthesis, surface engineering, and functionalization of advanced nanomaterials, including ferrite nanomaterials, MXenes, polymer nanocomposites, and advanced ceramic materials. I develop multifunctional materials for biomedical applications, particularly drug delivery and nanomedicine, as well as for environmental remediation through photocatalysis, adsorption, water purification, and the efficient removal of pharmaceutical contaminants.
