The International Workshop on Orbitronics 2027 will bring together leading researchers and emerging scientists working on orbitronics, and more generally, quantum dynamics of angular momentum in materials and devices.
Orbitronics has rapidly developed into a broad and active field connecting condensed-matter physics, materials science, magnetism, spintronics, and quantum transport. Recent advances have demonstrated that orbital angular momentum can be generated, transported, manipulated, and converted into other electronic degrees of freedom, opening new opportunities for fundamental discoveries and energy-efficient information technologies.
The workshop will provide a focused forum for presenting recent theoretical and experimental developments, identifying outstanding questions, and exploring future directions for the international orbitronics community.
