I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Big Data Science, Graduate School of Korea University. I obtained my BS in Computer Science and BS in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in Computer Science at Dartmouth College and a PhD in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. My research focuses on developing machine learning and statistical methodology, and large-scale computational system, for solving real-world problems in technological, biomedical and social research. I am interested in bringing together ideas from automated learning and statistics to design and validate methods for effective and efficient big data analytics.
