Digital Immersion Teachers

Digital Immersion teachers are those teachers who teach in a classroom where each student uses their own device for their learning. In our programme every teacher in their first year of digital immersion receives one hour a week of in-class facilitation as well as out-of-classroom support which is geared to enable them to build the skills and capability to lead teaching and learning in an online environment. This facilitation is delivered in class via the Manaiakalani cybersmart curriculum and covers the Google range of apps, how to build a Google site and use class and student blogs.
