i! I am a Family and Consumer Science teacher and FCCLA advisor at Kasson-Mantorville High School. I have been teaching at Kasson-Mantorville High school since 1996. I earned a BA in Consumer Homemaking from the University of Northern Iowa and a MS in Education from Winona State University.
I teach a variety of Family Consumer Science classes for grades 9-12. Some of my classes are: Teen Decisions, Life Management, Food Innovations, Housing & Design, Apparel Design & Textiles and Hospitality and Tourism. Our students are fortunate to also have the opportunity to take two concurrent enrollment classes through Mankato State Univeristy as part of our Education and Training Career Pathway. These classes are Child Development & Education (KSP 150, 3 credits) and Human Development (KSP 235, 3 credits), the prerequiste for this class is Child Development & Psychology
