Welcome!

My name is Erica Meyers I will be teaching 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Physical Science. 

This is my 4th year as an educator and I am eager to begin the school year! I graduated from North Dakota State University in 2019 with a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Zoology. From there, I pursued a Masters degree at St. Cloud State University in Life Science Education and graduated in the summer of 2021. While completing my graduate degree, I actively researched student motivation to learn science and have adopted many strategies to make my time with students more active and engaging. I am deeply committed to providing a safe and captivating learning environment for all students. 

Fun Facts About Ms. Meyers

• I have a golden retriever named Dakota-- I talk about her A LOT

• I love snowboarding in the winter and spending time on the lake in the summer

• I really enjoy learning new hobbies--my most recent hobby is crocheting!
