Our KMHS robotics team is gearing up for their first scrimmage on February fifteenth and could always use new members! If anybody is interested, they should contact Mr. Otterness; It is relatively late in the season, so any new members would have to work extra hard. Even if you’re not interested in making robots, the robotics team still has all sorts of other jobs that they could use help with. When it comes to robotics, a lot is going on behind the scenes, from the students who are building the different pieces to those that are planning and putting together ideas. Robotics sure is a busy place! The robotics team this year has a large group of new members, from new freshmen to older students that just wanted to be more involved; the team is always accepting new members. Robotics teaches its students excellent teamwork skills as well as confidence in a vast range of technical skills. With a large, diverse group of students, robotics really does have a place for everybody!
