KMMS Choirs

Choirs at KMMS 

We have 4 choirs at KMMS, one for each grade level (5-8). Students can start choir in the fall of 5th Grade. Student will learn the basics of reading rhythms and notation, as well as becoming fluent in reading and singing solfege. Students will develop their singing voices as the prepare a wide variety of repertoire incorporating many different style musical styles, cultures and languages.  This culminates with a 'Pops' Concert in May, with students suggesting and voting on songs to perform. The lineup often contains popular music from what they listen to and from what they hear in movies.
