About Mrs. Whalen

My name is Allison Whalen and I teach 3rd grade at Kasson-Mantorville Elementary School! I live in Kasson with my husband, Tom, and our 3 kids-Joey, Ben and Phil. My husband and I are both KM grads, so our family has a lot of KoMet pride and it has been a joy seeing them thrive here at KM! We also have 2 dogs-Penny and Bernie. As a family we love being outside, trying new things, reading, creating and exploring! 

I love being a teacher and getting to learn and grow everyday with my students. I strive to provide a positive and fun learning environment. I set high expectations academically and behaviorally for all of my students. I want every child in my classroom to both love school and learn a lot. I love working with families to support academical, social, physical and emotional growth.

We have such an amazing community here at KMES and I'm lucky to be apart of it! Go KoMets!
