Dr. Yassin Ahmadi

Short Bio

Dr. Yassin, originally hailing from Kurdistan, earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Clinical Biochemistry from TBZMED (Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, located in Tabriz, Iran), a highly esteemed institution in Iran.

In 2021, he embarked on a new chapter in his career by joining the faculty of Komar University of Sciences and Technology in Kurdistan, Iraq, where he currently holds a position as a Lecturer. At Komar University, his teaching portfolio encompasses a range of subjects, including General Medical Biology, Clinical Biochemistry, and Biochemistry tailored for Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Nursing students.

Dr. Yassin has been actively engaged in various collaborative research endeavors, generously supported by funding from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. He has contributed significantly to the academic discourse, either as the primary author or as a co-author, with his work appearing in several papers published in international peer-reviewed journals. His research interests primarily revolve around topics such as Cancer Stem Cells, Cell Cycle, and the Evolution of Cancer.
