Short Bio

My name is Shokh Mukhtar

I have a Ph.D. degree in Applied Statistics and an M.Sc. in Statistics/Reliability-Survival Analysis from the University of Sulaimani, College of Administration and Economics, Statistics Department.

I joined Komar University of Science and Technology in summer 2021 as full-time faculty and since October 2023 as the coordinator of the Medical Laboratory Science department.

Academic Philosophy

Creating a structured, supportive enviroment in which students feel free and safe to take risks with their learning, and can be active members of a learining community.

Challenging at a deep level and experiment with different ways of teaching in order to find the method that works best for each individual students.

Giving the opportunity to students explore their thoughts so that they will strive constantly towards grasping knowledge and skills.
