Dr. Shan Khazendar,

Shan is a full-time lecturer in the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Sulaimani. She is currently working as a part-time lecturer in the Computer Science and Computer Engineering Department of Komar University of Science and Technology. 

 Qualification:

• PhD in Computer Science (University of Buckingham, Buckingham, UK)

Computer-aided Diagnosis of Gynaecological Abnormality using B-mode Ultrasound Images

• MSc. degree in Innovative Computing (University of Buckingham, Buckingham, UK).

 Ethnicity Recognition from  Face Images

• BSc. degree in Statistics and Computer (College of Commerce, University of Sulaimani, Iraq).

Research Interest:

Image Processing, especially in the field of Gynaecological, and for this purpose she did a collaboration with: 

• Department of Early Pregnancy, Imperial College, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, London, UK.

• Department of Cancer and Surgery, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital, Imperial College, London, UK

• Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, University Hospital KU Leuven, Leuven, Belgium.
