Area of Specialization: Microbiology

Ph.D. Topic: To Elucidate transmission pathways of the gastric pathogen Helicobacter pylori and analysis of its VacA gene and its correlation with the disease status.

Area of Research Interest.

1. Antiquorum sensing against drug-resistant microorganisms

2. Identification and Detection of Candida Auris

Academic Philosophy Research

 Statement

I finished my Ph.D. in the year 2010 from Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.

My research area was genotyping of Helicobacter pylori and its correlation with the status of the disease, specifically gastric cancer. Along with genotyping, I worked on finding the most common transmission pathways of Helicobacter pylori. I also worked on early diagnosis of H.pylori by using saliva specimens

After that, I worked on the most reliable and quick diagnostic method for the diagnosis of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Previously I worked on three projects: 1) Use of bioactive compounds on Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus.

2) Common etiological agents of Bacterial keratitis and its antimicrobial susceptibility pattern

3) Urinary Tract Infections

My Future Projects will be:

1. Antiqurum Sensing

2. Candida auris

3. Host-parasite interactions
