I am a Lecturer at Komar University of Science and Technology and currently serve as the Chairperson of the AI & Cybersecurity Department. My academic specialization is in Computer Science & Information Technology, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Serious Games.
I hold a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Duhok Polytechnic University and an M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Science from the University of Sulaimani.
My research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, serious games for intelligent and secure systems, mobile and intelligent application development, and operating system performance optimization and parallel processing. My scholarly work has been disseminated through peer-reviewed journals and reputable international conferences.
In addition to my research activities, I am strongly committed to academic teaching, graduate and undergraduate supervision, and fostering an innovative and research-driven learning environment that prepares future leaders in advanced computing technologies.
I believe that successful learning occurs most effectively in an environment in which students are active and reflective. Such an environment is student-centered; that is, every student is engaged in interaction, use of curriculum material, collaboration, creation of learning artifacts and construction of knowledge. In this environment students see the curriculum content to be directly relevant to their own lives. But I will try to summarize the key points of my philosophy:
· Student-centered learning
· A teacher as a designer and a facilitator
· Integration of assessment and learning
· Teacher’s subject matter expertise
· Skills in using educational technology
· A teacher’s continuous learning,
