Why are coral reefs that important to us? If you don't know, I'll tell you why!

The first reason is they create 50-80% of oxygen for us, so that means they help us breathe.

The second reason is they let us do fun activities like diving.

The third reason is they help us make new medicine and also 1 million people rely on coral reefs for food.

The fourth reason is the coral reefs prevent big waves from getting bigger and creating a tsunami.

The last one is they create a habitat for fish so fish can eat and grow. Then people can eat fish.
