Éric Arsenault
Founder & Executive Producer
Éric Arsenault is a Montreal-based filmmaker, actor and creator of Kokiri Films. Éric began his career as a host of TVO Kids’ Green Squad, engaging young audiences in environmental awareness. He returned to school to pursue a Bachelors of Communication Studies at Concordia University, where he transitioned to behind the camera roles. As an ACTRA member, Éric has been able to produce several ACTRA MIP shorts, and help new filmmakers find their voice. With the success of his film “It Takes Two” at Fantasia Film Festival, he launched Kokiri Films, a production house that aims to keep it local, and keep it Canadian.
Inspired by his recent reconnection with his Korean heritage, he founded Kokiri Films—named after the Korean word for elephant, his favourite animal. Through Kokiri Films, Éric aims to create impactful, visually compelling stories that blend culture, identity, and creativity.

Kyra Marchand
Associate Producer
Kyra Marchand is a Montreal-based producer at Kokiri Films. While pursuing a degree in Computer Science at Concordia University, she has developed a passion for film production alongside her studies.
Before the launch of Kokiri Films, Kyra was First Assistant Director on Éric Arsenault’s short film It Takes Two, which premiered at the Fantasia International Film Festival. She has since continued to work as a Second Assistant Director and Production Manager on various Kokiri projects.
Through her work with Kokiri Films, Kyra is passionate about supporting, Canadian storytelling and helping bring meaningful stories to the screen while continuing to explore the intersection of creativity and technology.

Jack Steer
Associate Producer
Jack Steer is a BC born filmmaker and writer, and Associate Producer at Kokiri Films. Studying Communications and Creative Writing at Concordia University, Jack is pursuing his lifelong love of storytelling.
The co-creator of the comedy webseries Business As Usual, Jack has helped realize several Kokiri Films projects, such as Or The Egg? And Cold Morning.
Jack has filled a variety of roles on other sets, including Second Assistant Director on Fantasia-selected film Dance With The Dealer and unit publicist on the upcoming feature film Moving Day.
Jack believes that to share stories is to connect as people, and at Kokiri Films he is passionate about doing just that.
