My name is Wendy Kukla. This is my 34th year at Kohler School District, and I am very proud to be part of this fantastic learning institution! I currently teach junior kindergarten through fifth grade general music and middle school/high school Pep Band. I am active on many Kohler School District committees, and am certified as a Tribes Trainer for teachers in the state of Wisconsin.
My family and I live in Sheboygan. My husband, Jim, is employed by the Kohler Company. We have three children. Natalie has a degree in Biomedical Biology and is working in Milwaukee for Novo Nordisk. Cole is a graduate from UW-Platville with a Major in Business and is working for ASCO. Paige has a degree in Business and Supply Chain Mgmt and is working for Uber Freight in Chicago.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree and Piano Performance degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 1987. I received my Masters of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1994. I received my Tribes Trainer for Teachers certification from Cal State University during the summer of 2011. I continue to take graduate level classes to stay current with good educational practices and philosophies.

The Kohler Music Department provides opportunities for students to study and perform music of the highest quality. The music program provides a balanced education, complimenting the other academic fields. Students have opportunites to perform in various performing ensembles. Although group oriented, the music program truly focuses on individual development. Beginning in Kindergarten and continuing through high school, students are taught to become independant performers and continue to develop as individual musicians.
