This is an entry-level course for the High School Visual Design curriculum. This course will introduce students to the basics of two-dimensional design through the use of type, logo, photography and illustration. The course will also cover digital image manipulation and page layout. The software used in the class, (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) meet current industry standards. As you progress through the Graphic Design curriculum you’ll build a professional portfolio and develop strong design skills while learning to prepare your work for publication in a variety of formats.
