Gasparilla is a loggerhead turtle that was satellite tagged near Jupiter FL on August 13, 2024. Gasparilla is the smallest loggerhead tagged by LMC to date, clocking in at 113 lbs and with a shell length of 73cm! Tracking data from this turtle will be used in various ongoing research projects being conducted by the Research Department at LMC.
