Shahid Jamil is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, College of Pharmacy, Knowledge University, Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Prior to his recent appointment at Knowledge University, he was an Associate Professor with the administrative position of Head of the Institution at Jahangirabad Institute of Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Barabanki, Lucknow, UP, affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and Uttar Pradesh, India.
Dr. Shahid Jamil received his undergraduate degree in 2002 as well as his M. Pharm. degree in Quality Assurance; in 2004 from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics; in 2008 from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University), New Delhi, India.
Dr. Jamil published a number of papers in preferred Journals and participated in a range of forums on Pharmaceutical and Medical science. He also presented various academic as well as research-based papers at several national and international conferences, including the British Pharmaceutical Conference 2007, Manchester Central, U.K.; the 60th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, 2008, in New Delhi, India; and the National Conference on Advancement in Research and Development in Science and Technology 2014, Bhopal, India.; First International Conference of Pharmaceutical and Applied Medical Science, ICPAM 2023, Erbil, Iraq. Second International Conference of Pharmaceutical and Applied Medical Science, ICPAM 2024, Erbil, Iraq. He received four research grant projects from the NPST (National Plan for Scientific and Research), Ministry of Higher Education, Saudi Arabia.
His research activities are in the fields of nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems for anticancer drugs and Pharmaceutical analysis of drugs and herbs and their interactions.
