The families must show up to these sites on time each day of the week they are there in order to receive. The Commodity Program distributes on the 15th of the month USDA surplus food to low-income families in Knox County. Please call to confirm the next scheduled session. Please bring photo identification and proof of income, proof of residency. Office Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00AM – 4:45PM **Eligibility determined at the distribution site.

The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is one of the most critical components of our community’s social safety net. Home heating costs are a big part of every household’s budget. LIHEAP Assistance can be applied to a current or past due utility bill.

Low-Income Home Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP). Your household could qualify for water/wastewater assistance. If your household is eligible for LIHEAP you may also be eligible for LIHWAP
Project Help
Project Help is an emergency energy assistance program that provides temporary assistance for people in need living within the KUB service area, regardless of the energy source in their home (electricity, natural gas, propane, heating oil, wood, or coal).
