Tennessee Promise
Tennessee Promise is both a scholarship and mentoring program focused on increasing the number of students that attend a postsecondary institution in our state. Students can qualify for 2 Free Years from eligible institutions.

Eligibility
Tennessee resident/U.S. citizen/eligible non-citizen/students who graduate from an eligible high School, homeschool, or earn a GED/HISET (prior to 19th birthday) can receive an award at an eligible postsecondary institution toward tuition and mandatory fees after all other gift aid has been first applied. Students must attend mandatory meetings and participate in a mentoring program. College students must attend full-time, continue to participate in the mentoring program, and perform 8 hours of community service prior to each term the award is received.

Apply by November 1, 2023 (http://www.tnpromise.gov)
Complete the free application for federal student aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov (Open Dec. 2023)
Attend MANDATORY fall meeting January 24, 2024 at 4:00 at PHS * Failure to attend the mandatory meeting will result in loss of the Tennessee Promise scholarship.
Apply to an eligible institution + register for classes
Complete 8 hours of community service from November 2, 2023 thru July 1, 2024
You must have continuous enrollment to remain eligible.
