Brandon Lee Walton is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023. He is the son of Randy and Lil Walton.
Brandon’s favorite memory at Knox County is participating in all the dumb things he and his friends did. Brandon’s favorite teachers are Mrs. (Taylar) Parrish and Mrs. (Kelley) Carlson because they are always there for him and easy to talk to.
The most important and influential person in his life is his brother Bradey. He stated, “He tries his best to keep me in line and on track in life.” If Brandon won a million dollars, he said he would use it to start a good life.
Following graduation, Brandon plans to enter the workforce. When asked where he sees himself in ten years, he said, “If not dead, hopefully, I will have a family started.”

Levi Watts, son of John and Amy Watts, is a senior at Knox County High School. Levi was among the semester graduates who received their diplomas in December 2022.
His favorite memory from high school is building the bus cafe in Mr. (Rich) Green’s shop classes. Levi’s favorite teacher is Miss (Lauren) Dale because she made his classroom experience fun and enjoyable. Levi’s favorite class was shop class with Mr. Green because he enjoyed working on the projects.
Levi describes himself as "outgoing, hardworking, and a problem-solver." Levi’s most influential person in his life is his grandma because taught him a lot about life. If he could travel anywhere in the world, he would go to Texas. A goal on Levi’s bucket list is to go skydiving.
One thing he misses from high school is seeing his friends. Levi’s future plans include going to Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners Career Academy.

Emily Carlson, the daughter of Randy and Kelley Carlson, is a senior at Knox County High School. Emily was among the semester graduates who received their high school diplomas in December of 2022.
Mrs. (Keli) Huchteman is her favorite teacher. Emily said, “Her classes were the best part of my day.” While she has many favorite memories as a student at Knox County, she says her favorite was helping to build the Bus Cafe.
The most influential person in Emily’s life is her brother, Michael. She describes herself as “independent, smart, and straightforward.” The part of high school she will miss the most is “a few of the OG classmates.”
After high school, Emily plans to study aviation maintenance at State Tech. In ten years, she sees herself building spacecraft for Space X.

Myriah Kay Williams, the daughter of Carmen Tungate and Kendall Williams, is a 2023 senior at Knox County High School. Throughout high school, she has been a part of Dance Team, FBLA, and FFA.
Myriah says that her favorite teacher is Mrs. (Laura) Greenley because she calls her out when she is not being productive. Her favorite class is interior design because she enjoys the fun atmosphere and loves Mrs. (Keli) Huchteman, the teacher. She shares that her favorite high school member was when the Dance Team performed the umbrella dance her junior year. She said it was extremely fun.
If Myriah had a million dollars, she would make her own house to live on her own and be with her dog. If she could vacation anywhere, she said, “I would go to the Bahamas because I heard that I could swim with pigs there.” If she could be any animal she said that she would be a cow so that she wouldn’t have to deal with people.
Myriah’s most influential person in her life is her grandfather. She says it is because he is always there for her and because he has a great work ethic that she gets from him. Three things on her bucket list are to place first in a barrel race, go on vacation to a faraway state, and try to breed horses. Three words Myriah uses to describe herself are “ambitious, easygoing, and determined."
In ten years Myriah sees herself having her own ranch as well as being a Vet Tech. Her future plans are to attend MACC to get a Vet Tech Degree.

Christopher Yahl is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023. He is the son of David and Kim Yahl.
Christopher’s favorite memory at Knox County is hanging out with his friends and classmates on the second to last day of his junior year. He also greatly enjoyed his junior prom. Christopher’s favorite teacher is Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn and her LA 4 class is his favorite class.
Christopher describes himself as “considerate, caring, and accepting.” The most important and influential people in his life are his parents. He stated, “They have given me the values that I have and they taught me everything that I know how to do.”
Following graduation, Christopher plans to attend college and is undecided on what college or what degree he will seek. In ten years, Christopher plans on living his best life with a college degree and a family.

Kael Williams is a senior at Knox County High School. He is the son of Amber Williams and is involved in Esports here at Knox County. After high school, he plans to attend college.
In high school, Kael has many good memories. Many of his best memories, he says, have come from his senior year P.E. class because he “likes to play sports with his classmates.” Kael has especially enjoyed improving at sports and becoming competitive in his P.E. classes with Coach James Dent this year. Another favorite class is Computer Science because he gets to build robots out of Legos. He said he also enjoys this class because it is taught by his favorite teacher, Mrs. (Toni) Lucas, who is his favorite teacher because, he says, she has a similar sense of humor to him.
When asked to describe himself in three words, he said, “ quiet, introverted, and competitive.” Kael's mom is the most influential person in his life because she supports him. In ten years, Kael will hopefully be finished with college and have a well-paying job where he works from home and lives with his girlfriend.

Loucion "Blain" Walker, a 2023 Knox County High School graduate, is the son of Stephanie Kincaid and Larry Walker.
Business teacher Mrs. (Brandi) Wriedt is Blain’s favorite teacher because “she was always there for me when I needed it,” he said. His most memorable time in high school was making a rap in Miss Lauren Dale’s biology class. He says his favorite class is P.E. with Coach James Dent because he “has fun and gets to do whatever he wants.”
Blain describes himself as “dumb, funny, and outgoing.” He says that his grandpa is the most influential person in his life because, he said, “He basically raised me and took care of my mom her whole life.”
Blain plans to attend college to become a massage therapist or a P.E. teacher. The thing he will miss most about school is being able to connect with others. When asked where he sees himself in ten years, Blain says, “Hopefully somewhere making my name known or at least not in jail.”

Keaton Michael Strange is a 2023 senior at Knox County High School. He is the son of Kirk & Marty Strange. In high school, Keaton has participated in football, basketball, track, FFA, and Eagle Nation News.
Keaton’s favorite teacher is Ms. Lauren Dale because “she’s very relaxed.” His favorite class is Journalism because they “have fun debates.” Three words Keaton uses to describe himself are “funny, friendly, and honest.” One thing Keaton would like to cross off his bucket list is to travel to the moon.
The most influential person in Keaton’s life is his brother, Kyle Strange. “He’s always been there for me and given me advice,” he said. One thing Keaton would like to do before having kids is to become rich.
Keaton mentioned that after he graduates, he will miss being around his friends the most. After graduation, he plans to attend Culver Stockton College for four to six years to become a successful physical therapist.

Katelyn Jo Shelton is a member of the 2023 class and is the daughter of Kathy and Wayne Edwards. She participates in Student Council, Art Club, FBLA, Spanish Club, Esports, and Eagle Nation News.
Her favorite school memory is the 2022 Art Club field trip to Des Moines. Katelyn couldn’t pick just one teacher to be her favorite. She said Mrs. (Toni) Lucas, Mrs. (Brandi) Wriedt, and Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn are her favorite teachers because she enjoys their classes and they are very chill.
Katelyn is most proud of keeping a high GPA throughout high school. Katelyn’s most influential person in her life is her mom. She said, “She has always been there for me and has pushed me to do my best in school.”
Katelyn's future plans are to attend Culver-Stockton College, majoring in Graphic Design. In 10 years, she plans to have a nice house and a well-paying job.

Rylan Roberts is another member of the Knox County High School Class of 2023. He is the son of Leah and Dale Roberts. He competes in baseball, basketball, football, and trap shooting. He is also a member of FFA and Eagle Nation News.
Rylan is an impressive athlete and has had a lot of accomplishments throughout his high school career in sports, even though he has had a few setbacks along the way. His favorite memory is from when he competed in the baseball district championship. He remembers Kent McCurren doing the dab to show his support for the team.
His favorite class has been Media and Journalism with his two teachers, Mrs. (Laura) Greenley and Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn. He enjoys this class because it helps teach him different ways to use technology and build teamwork while also having fun working with his friends.
Rylan said the person who has been the biggest inspiration in his life is John Daly because he feels they share key life values. Rylan said he thinks Daly has a good outlook on life and has quotes that he can connect with. If given the chance to be any animal in the world, Rylan would choose to be a turkey because he loves doing activities outside, and he believes turkeys are beautiful pieces of nature.
Rylan is unsure what he wants to be or where he will go after graduation. He does, however, plan to attend college to further his education.

Zoey Betia Rack, the daughter of Tammy Florea and Steven Rack, is a member of the 2023 class. She has participated in Cheerleading, Dance Team, Student Council, Band, and Choir.
Zoey’s favorite memory of school is when she won 2023 Courtwarming Queen. Her favorite teacher is Dr. Nuhn. She said, “He is hilarious and always makes my day. He is there for me if I need to vent.” Her favorite class is her S.A.M. hour. She said, “I love working with the little kids and they always make my day better.”
Outside of school, she says the most influential person in her life is her mom and sister. “They have been my biggest supports and are always there for me and push me to do my hardest,” Zoey said. She describes herself as “outgoing, funny, and ambitious.” After high school, Zoey plans to attend Carl Sandburg Community College in Galesburg, Ill. She plans to major in mortuary science and obtain her funeral director’s license.

Kellen Parrish is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023. He is the son of Darin and Amanda Parrish. He participates in NHS, Basketball, Baseball, Spanish Club, FBLA, FFA, Eagle Nation News, and Trapshooting.
Kellen’s favorite memory at Knox has been everything from high school sports. He pitches and plays third and first bases for Knox County’s baseball team. He is an outstanding athlete, especially when it comes to basketball. Kellen was named second-team all-conference this year in basketball. Kellen says his favorite teacher is Mrs. Greenley because she is laid back but also expects him to get his work done.
Kellen says the three words that best describe him are “intelligent, laid back, and athletic.” The most influential person to him has been his mom. He states, “She is always there for me when I need her, and I can rely on her for anything.”
Following graduation, Kellen plans to get a business degree but is undecided on what college he will attend. In ten years, he sees himself living his best life with a great job and a family.

Blake Edward Parrish is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023 and is the son of Justin and Betsy Parrish. While attending Knox County High School, Blake has been involved in Basketball, Baseball, Trap Shooting, FFA, NHS, and Eagle Nation News.
Blake’s favorite teachers at Knox are Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn and Mrs. (Laura) Greenley, who are also the teachers of his favorite class, Media and Journalism. “We have a lot of fun in there, but we also somehow get our work done,” he said.
Blake says his favorite memory from high school was having his baby boy, River, and raising him around his friends. Blake shared that he has a very extravagant bucket list, with activities including hunting in Africa, deep sea fishing, and becoming a millionaire.
Following graduation, Blake plans to attend John Woods Community College, where he will study nursing in hopes of one day becoming a NICU nurse.

Hannah Lanae Miller is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023. She is the daughter of Craig and the late Bonnie Miller. Throughout her time at Knox County High School, she has been involved in Cheer, Dance Team, Drama Club, Eagle Nation News, FBLA, NHS, Spanish Club, Student Council, and Yearbook.
Hannah’s favorite teachers are Mrs. (Laura) Greenley and Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn. She says, “I can joke around with them and still finish my work. Watching basketball games with Mrs. Llewellyn is my favorite.” When asked about her favorite memory from school, Hannah said, “We were in journalism, and Jeep popped a big balloon and got scared and just stared at his hands, or on the last day of 8th grade when we flipped all the furniture upside down in the computer lab.” Her favorite classes are Journalism and Ceramics. She enjoys the opportunities that journalism presents because she can go places and record and learn new things. In ceramics, she has made sculptures she is proud of.
Three words that Hannah uses to describe herself are "adventurous, creative, and free-spirited." This ties well into three things Hannah shares on her bucket list: traveling to Greece, visiting the major US National Parks, and seeing the Northern Lights.
The one thing Hannah will miss the most about high school is being surrounded daily by her friends and people she knows. Her future plans are to attend MACC.

Brianna Miller is a senior at Knox County High School. She is the daughter of Bill and Misty Miller. Brianna is involved in FFA, Softball, Basketball, FBLA, and Eagle Nation News.
Throughout high school, Brianna has had lots of memories and proud moments. She described her favorite memory as “going around the school and making a TikTok with some of the teachers.” Brianna is most proud of her sports accomplishments. She is specifically proud of her accomplishments in basketball, which include multiple all-conference awards and the 3-point record she holds. She describes herself as “fun, outgoing, and athletic.”
There have been many influential people in Brianna’s life. The most influential person in her life is her mom because she is always there for her, and she always supports her at all of her sporting events. In school, her favorite class is Media and Journalism, where she gets to be with all her friends and socialize with them. Many of Brianna’s teachers have also had an impact on her life. Her favorite teachers are Mrs. (Laura) Greenley and Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn because they challenge her and are “chill” at the same time.
In ten years, Brianna sees herself having a stable and successful job. By that time, she will also hopefully be married and have children. After high school, she plans to attend college, but her major is undecided.

Zoee McKee is the daughter of Angela Willard, Christopher McKee, and Elaine Sharon. Zoee’s future plans are to join the Air Force, go to military training and complete at least six years in service.
Zoee’s favorite memory in her years at Knox County High School was when a motivational speaker came to the school, and they did a ballroom dance during an assembly. Her favorite teacher is Miss (Lisa) Blake. She said, “She is very energetic and happy. She tries to make everything fun.” Her favorite class is Mrs. (Toni) Lucas’ art class because she gets to be creative.
Three words Zoee uses to describe herself are "creative, slightly overwhelming, and intellectual." The top things on Zoee’s bucket list are going to Japan and sword-fighting with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The thing Zoee will miss most about high school is seeing her friends every day. To underclassmen, she offers this advice, “Do the work. Turn it in even if you don’t understand. Try your very best, and don’t be a moron.”

Braxton Thomas McCurren, the son of John McCurren and Nicole Navarro, is in the graduating class of 2023 at Knox County High School. He is involved in Baseball and Football.
One of Braxton’s favorite school memories was the end of his junior year at the outside activity day, specifically the water balloon fight. The thing he will miss most about high school is seeing his teachers and friends every day. Mrs. Taylar Parrish is Braxton’s favorite teacher. “She has been here for me since my sophomore year and I can trust her with anything.”
Braxton says his father, John McCurren, has been the most influential person in his life. “He has pushed me in every aspect of life.” Braxton would like to own a house before having kids. He would also like to cross traveling to Australia off his bucket list.
After graduation, Braxton plans to attend John Wood Community College where he will play baseball and study business management with an emphasis on marketing. He plans on just “going with the wind” to decide where to live after college.

Mercedes Kramer is a member of the 2023 class and is the daughter of Patrisha Kramer. She is involved in Art Club and ESports.
Mercedes’ favorite memory is when people would tell jokes in class. It made her day better by having laughs with her friends. “Jokes in class made me feel welcome and comfortable.” When asked what her proudest moment was, Mercedes said, “Making the honor roll more than once. It made me and my parents proud because, in middle school, I had a rough time so going into my senior year on the honor roll was a big thing.”
If Mercedes had a superpower, it would be invisibility because, “If I’m ever in a situation I did not want to be in, I could just leave without anyone knowing.” If Mercedes won the lottery she would probably keep half of it to pay for future stuff and give the other half away to either her family or a charity that she supports.
Mercedes’ future plans are to possibly attend Moberly Area Community College. If that doesn’t work out then she plans to enter the workforce and then try college again later.

Austin Eric Jansen is a member of the 2023 class and is the son of Scott and Kim Jansen. Austin is involved in Future Business Leaders of America, Spanish Club, National Honor Society, Football, Basketball, Track and Field, Scholar Bowl, Student Council, Senior Class President, Eagle Nation News, and the Bus Cafe.
While at Knox, he says his favorite memory is the summer of his sophomore year. Austin’s favorite teacher is math teacher, Miss (Amy) McNabb. “She teaches me math well,” he said.
Austin shared that he has a bucket list of many extreme and radical ideas including being in a movie, getting a piggyback ride from a gorilla, and growing a mean mustache.
Following graduation, Austin plans on attending college but is undecided about where.

Jennifer Hinkle is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023. She is the daughter of Jim and Kim Hinkle. While at Knox County High School, she has been involved in Eagle Nation News, FBLA, Softball, Spanish Club, and Track. Jennifer has also worked at the Bus Cafe for the past two years.
Her favorite memory from high school is when she threw a slime bag at Miss (Amy) McNabb and it exploded all over her. This went on back and forth for about a week before they called it even. Jennifer’s favorite teacher is Mr. Jeff Ackman “because he gives the best advice for everything.” Her favorite class was Trigonometry last year with Miss McNabb. “We would always talk to each other even during tests and it was a class where we always were laughing,” she said.
Jennifer’s proudest accomplishment from high school was being ranked nationally for javelin. She climbed all the way up to ninth place nationally which was very impressive. The most influential person in her life has been her Grandma Okle because she has taught her how to take life not so seriously along with teaching her many other life lessons. If Jennifer was to win the lottery, the first thing she would buy is a 1948 Norman E. Timbs Buick Streamliner.
Following graduation, Jennifer plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia. There, she will study Business Management along with continuing her track and field career.

Madison Harder, a 2023 graduate of Knox County High School, is the daughter of Dana and Candi Harder. She is involved in NHS, Student Council, FBLA, Spanish Club, Art Club, ESports, and Drama Club. Harder shares that she is most proud of herself for being able to start working towards her associate's degree through MACC during her junior and senior years.
Her favorite memory is the after-performance dinner with her Drama Club cast and creating memories with people that share the same interests as her. Harder says her favorite teacher is Art Teacher Mrs. (Toni) Lucas because of her involvement in ESports and Art Club, and she enjoyed spending all four years of high school with her.
In three words, Harder would describe herself as empathetic because she’s caring of others, hard-working because she’s trying her best to go to college and complete all her classes, and creative because of her artistic abilities and her interest in drama. Her most influential person is her mother because she is the person who taught her never to give up, always keep her head up, and made her the person she is today.
Harder’s future plans are to attend MACC to obtain an associate's degree in health science and then transfer to a four-year university. In ten years, she sees herself graduating with a bachelor’s degree and working a full-time career that she enjoys in health science. She also sees herself living in Michigan and successfully living on her own.
Harder says she will miss the relationships with her teachers and friends the most after she graduates.

Ryan Hall is a member of the Knox County Class of 2023. He is the son of Kim and Jennifer Hall. He is involved in baseball, FFA, and Trap Shooting.
While at Knox, Ryan says his favorite memory was when he and some shop classmates trapped Tyson in the bathroom by moving lockers in front of the door. His favorite class is shop, and his favorite teacher is industrial technology teacher, Mr. (Rich) Green. "Mr. Green and his classes allow me to be a part of many cool projects that I wouldn't be able to do anywhere else."
The three characteristics that Ryan uses to describe himself are hardworking, caring, and light-hearted. The most influential person in his life is his dad. "He has taught me many life skills and is always there for me."
Following graduation, Ryan plans to attend Indian Hills Community College to study agronomy.

Jeep Robert Griffith is a 2023 senior and the son of Robert and Sara Griffith. Jeep has been involved in Football, Scholar Bowl, School Store, Eagle Nation News, NHS, Student Council, and FBLA.
Jeep says his favorite teacher is Coach James Dent because "He's that guy. He's very relatable, involved, and impactful in my life.” Jeep's favorite school memory comes from middle school when his friend Austin Jansen was in a wheelchair. "It was a fun time," he recalls. When asked about the most influential person in his life, Jeep stated, "Everyone I come in contact with has an influence on my life, good or bad.”
Three words Jeep used to describe himself were genius, humorous, and bold. When he graduates, Jeep will miss all the experiences he has had with his classmates. After high school, Jeep plans to attend college but is undecided about where he will go.

Charlie Green is a member of the 2023 class, and he is the son of Richard and Christina Green. He participates in Student Council.
Charlie’s favorite class is FLEX. Throughout school, Charlie’s favorite teacher has been his father, Mr. (Rich) Green, because he is always helping him in the shop with projects. Charlie’s favorite memory of high school is working on the bus wash for shop class.
Outside of school, Charlie is most proud of when he finally figured out a problem with a motorcycle he was trying to fix. The most influential person in Charlie’s life is Coach Nathan Miller. "Coach Miller has helped me in class at times I really needed it." Charlie describes himself as "smart, caring, and a leader." If he could have one superpower it would be reading minds.
After high school, Charlie plans to continue working on the family farm to keep it in the family.

Cassidy Marie Goodwin is a member of the 2023 class and is the daughter of Kurt and Kisha Goodwin. She participates in FFA, FBLA, and, Track and Field.
When asked what her favorite school memory was Cassidy said, “My favorite school memory would be the back-to-school barbecue when we all threw Mallett (Mrs. Becca Dobrinske) into the pond and she was so mad.” Cassidy has two favorite teachers. She says Miss (Lauren) Dale and Mrs. (Brandi) Wriedt have both made a big impact on her high school life. She says, “They both are really easy to get along with and are pretty chill.”
With all the memories of Cassidy’s high school career, she said she will probably miss being with her friends every day the most. Cassidy said there has been a lot of people that have impacted her life but mainly her mom and dad because they are always there if she needs something. Cassidy describes herself as outgoing, careless, and hardworking.
After graduation, Cassidy plans to attend a two-year community college with an undecided major. In ten years, Cassidy sees herself having a good stable job and starting a family.

Tyson Jay Gilbert is a member of the Knox County High School 2023 class and is the son of Rayden Gilbert and Nicole Utterback. Tyson is involved in Trapshooting and Future Farmers of America.
While at Knox, he says his favorite memory is when he and Cassidy Goodwin taped the bell of Truman student, Mr. Emit, so he wasn’t able to ring it anymore. Tyson’s favorite teacher is Middle School History Teacher Tracy Hamlin. He said, “Anytime I have a problem with homework, she's always helped me through it and she's been there to support me in all my decisions and has kept me in line through school.”
Tyson said that the most influential person in his life is his buddy Lance. “He always pushes me to do better and always gives me the best advice. He always supports me in all my decisions, and if he thinks I'm making a wrong decision he’ll let me know.”
Tyson shared that he has a bucket list of many eventful adventures. A couple of those include going to the Daytona 500 and taking a trip to Africa to kill a lion.
Following graduation, Tyson plans to attend college to become a heavy equipment operator. When asked where he will be in 10 years, he said buying a house and starting his own business.

Joseph "Joey" Eli Davis is a member of the 2023 class and is the son of Jerry Davis and Shelly Davis. At Knox County, Joey is involved in Football, Scholar Bowl, Spanish Club, and FBLA.
Joey’s favorite memory from high school comes from junior year when he was in Miss (Amy) McNabb’s trigonometry and statistics class. He said he had the most fun with his classmates. He remembers making jokes most of the time. Joey said he is motivated by the people around him because some people show him the bad and some show him the good, so he sticks with the people that show him the good.
If Joey had to eat one meal for the rest of his life, it would be meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. “It needs to be homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. I love it, I guess; it’s my favorite.” Joey’s nickname is Phina. “My friends call me Phina. P-H-I-N-A because I guess it came from Josephine, which came from Joseph. I also get called Joe.”
After graduation, Joey plans to attend college, earn his associate's degree in exercise science and then get his bachelor’s degree. He plans to then transition to medical school and graduate with a medical doctor's license.

Wyatt Carmean is a member of the 2023 senior class. He is the son of Nancy Raulerson.
When asked what his favorite high school memory was, Wyatt said, “When we were in middle school PE and we were all running and a classmate tripped and falls face-first into the bleachers.” Wyatt’s favorite teacher is Coach (James) Dent because “he is just pretty chill, and we get along pretty well.”
Wyatt said he would miss nothing about high school. He said the main person who has impacted his life the most would be his mom. He said, “She’s always there for me no matter what…even when I’m being a pain.” In three words, Wyatt describes himself as hilarious, chill, and (sometimes) quiet.
After graduation, Wyatt plans to join the workforce. In ten years, he sees himself working a stable job and living his best life.

Ethan Christopher Campbell is a member of the Knox County High School 2023 class and is the son of Chris and Jamie Campbell. He participates in Basketball, FFA, and Eagle Nation News.
Ethan’s favorite school memory is the bus rides to away basketball games. The most memorable bus ride was to Milan, where the entire basketball team made fun of Keaton Strange. Throughout school, Campbell’s favorite teacher has been Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn, who he believes is very influential in his education.
Outside of school, Ethan is most proud of his friend, Blake Parrish, and Blake’s son, River. Ethan says many people have played an influential role in his life. Yet, the most significant influence throughout his life has been his dad “because he has always supported me through everything and is always there for me.” Ethan describes himself as “athletic, intelligent, and laid back.” His favorite food is pasta.
After high school, Ethan plans to attend college but is undecided. Then, in ten years, he sees himself with a degree and a successful job.

Christian Campbell, the son of Debra Campbell, is a senior at Knox County High School. He is involved in FFA, NHS, FBLA, Spanish Club, Basketball, and Baseball. Campbell's future plans are to go to MACC and then transfer to a four-year college to become a teacher or a therapist.
Campbell shares he is most proud of making people smile in everyday life. He says his favorite school memory is when he was a SAM student and went with the 6th graders on their field trip. Campbell shares that his favorite teacher is Mrs. (Brandi) Wriedt because, “She’s very nice and friendly.”
In three words he’d describe himself as hardworking, friendly and smart. Campbell says the most influential person in his life is his mom because, “She’s been through a lot and she strives to do the best she can every single day.” Campbell sees himself in 10 years living in a small town close to home with a wife and kids. Campbell says after graduation, the thing that he will miss the most are the friends he has made in high school.

Bailey Dawn Bowen is a member of the 2023 senior class and is the daughter of Josh and Amber Bowen. She has been involved in Softball, Art Club, Spanish Club, Drama Club, FBLA, Eagle Nation News, and Student Council. Bailey plans to attend MACC to complete her general education courses and will decide what it is she wants to major in from there.
Bailey said her favorite teachers are Mrs. (Dawn) Llewellyn, Mrs. (Toni) Lucas, and Mrs. (Laura) Greenley, although she states, "All of the teachers here are great. They're all understanding.” Bailey’s favorite school memory comes from a group chat the class had in eighth grade. Bailey says, "It was such an eye opener".
The most influential person in her life is her mom because, "She's been there for me from the beginning, she's given me good advice, and she always tells me the truth about things and doesn't hold back.” Three words Bailey uses to describe herself are creative, kind, and chill. Something on her bucket list is to get more out of her comfort zone and travel the world. Eventually, she wants to visit Hawaii. When she graduates, Bailey will miss all her teachers and seeing her friends every day.
