Knox County R-I School District Bus Project

The Knox County R-I School District along local rural electric coops have been researching electric school buses for the last two years, and we are extremely excited to be the first school district in Missouri to purchase one. We hope that our electric bus pilot will pave the way for more schools to take advantage of all the benefits of owning one. The diesel bus that we are taking off the road will be converted into a coffee shop. This project will expose our students to a variety of experiences from designing, building, and on through the operating of the coffee shop.
