Day 2 Theme: Assessment of students' understanding of the Engineering Design Process
For this day of the workshop, we asked teachers to bring samples of student work that demonstrated their students' understanding of the *process* of engineering design. Of course, the science content students learn through an engineering project is also important, but not as easy to generalize across contexts. We hoped that by discussing how to assess student understanding of process, this might help teachers see how student understanding of content could also be assessed.
Our analyses of student work brought in by participants, as well as work contributed by ETF teachers is available to participants only on the linked subpage, Resources for Participants.
