Welcome to Pre-K.  This year begins my 34th year in education.   I began my career as a teaching assistant in Uvalde and after college  I taught both kindergarten and first grade. I spent 20 years in Uvalde.  This year begins my 14th year in Knippa where I have taught first grade and  Pre-k.     I have an Associates Degree from SWTJC and a Bachelors Degree from Sul Ross State University Rio Grande College.  I have a Master's Degree in teacher leadership from Lamar University.  I am also certified in early childhood and special education.  

I am have been married to my husband Cody for 38 years.  Cody was a 1982 graduate of Knippa ISD.

We have one son, Gage, who is 25.  Gage is also a Knippa graduate.  He graduated in 2016 from Knippa Collegiate Early College High School with both a high school diploma and an associates degree from SWTJC.  He then went to Hardin Simmons University in Abilene where he graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Business Management with a minor in marketing.

Knippa has been a part of our lives for a very long time and I am proud to be a part of Knippa ISD.
