Kantorei Choir

This is the mixed (men and women) Grade 9 and 10 choir.  It is designed to be an introduction to choral singing.  Members of this ensemble will learn vocal technique, foundational music theory, music history and choral literature in preparation for singing in the Traveling Choir.  Performances will include the Fall, Christmas, Sacred, and Spring Concerts.  In addition, the ensemble will participate in Family Music Fest, Veterans Day and may participate in the WSMA Solo Ensemble Festivals and select chapels.  Students will be expected to perform short assignments designed to improve their musicianship.
