📢 IIEF 2026 Update: FACE-TO-FACE PARTICIPANTS MAY REFER TO GUIDELINES PAGE ON EXHIBITION REQUIREMENT.
IIEF 2026 – Participation Fee for Schools WAIVED
We are pleased to announce that the Participation Fee for schools has been officially waived for IIEF 2026.
Effective immediately, all primary and secondary schools across Malaysia may participate in the IIEF 2026 FREE OF CHARGE.
Important Notice:
For schools that have already made payment prior to this announcement, the amount paid will be absorbed as additional medal payment. Any remaining balance will be refunded to the respective participants/schools.
This initiative aims to encourage wider participation, promote innovation at school level, and provide more opportunities for students to showcase their creativity and research on an international platform.
We warmly welcome schools throughout Malaysia to take advantage of this opportunity and join us at IIEF 2026.

Participation in IIEF 2026 is open to participants from all levels and sectors, including students of higher education institutions, educators, lecturers, researchers, industry professionals, innovators, entrepreneurs, as well as non-education-based organisations and personnel.
Participation by primary and secondary schools for FACE-TO-FACE MODE is by invitation only.
Malaysian Schools are encouraged to participate in ONLINE MODE free-of-charge.
Please ensure payment is completed BEFORE registration. You will need to upload proof of payment.
Schools (Primary/Secondary): Payment is deferred until after project acceptance. You may proceed with registration without immediate payment.
Registration should be completed before 11.59 p.m. (GMT +8), March 5, 2026.

Applies to all participants within Malaysia (Face-to-face or Online Mode).
RM 0.70 service charge will be imposed for each successful transaction.
Schools, Educational Institutions and personnels, and Others (non-education institutions and personnels).
Download the Invoice and upload it as proof of payment upon registration.
You will be required to upload the proof of payment in the registration page (page 6).
Please upload your Invoice and Insert the Invoice Reference No. (as shown in the image below)
