Kishan Lal Public College, Rewari, established in 1964, is a prominent educational institution affiliated with Indira Gandhi University Meerpur, Rewari. The college was founded with the mission of providing quality education to the students of South Haryana. Named after the visionary educationist and philanthropist, Late Pt. Kishan Lal Sharma, the college has earned a distinguished reputation for academic excellence and holistic development.
The institution began with just 250 students and limited infrastructure but has grown significantly over the years, now enrolling around 3,500 students. It offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional courses approved by Indira Gandhi University. The college is managed by an independent governing body under the Public Education Board Rewari. Kishan Lal Public College excels not only in academics but also in sports, cultural activities, and co-curricular achievements. The college has made remarkable strides in infrastructure, with modern teaching blocks, a fully air-conditioned auditorium, seminar rooms, specialized science and computer labs, a gymnasium, a digitalized library and enhanced sports facilities.
