The Malaysia Festival is a cultural and culinary event organized by the Consulate General of Malaysia in New York. The festival aims to showcase the rich diversity of Malaysian culture, cuisine, and traditions to a broad audience in New York City. This event aims to be the biggest gathering of Malaysian diaspora in the East Coast of the United States with a particular focus for states under the jurisdiction of the Consulate, creating a platform for connection and cultural exchange.
Bring your families and a picnic mat for some 'healing' experience!
Chosen for its serene and spacious environment, this venue offers an ideal setting for a large-scale cultural celebration, providing ample space for food booths, performances, and activities in a comfortable and scenic atmosphere. The temple's peaceful surroundings enhance the immersive experience of Malaysia’s rich heritage while ensuring a family-friendly environment.
Additionally, the location offers ample FREE parking spaces, which are essential for accommodating the expected turnout.
While we understand that the temple may be farther for some, the venue's offerings and capacity make it the best choice for creating an authentic and enjoyable festival experience.
That said, the Malaysia Festival is designed to be a gathering for the entire Malaysian diaspora along the East Coast of the United States. We encourage everyone to take the day off, plan ahead, and make it a fun road trip with family and friends. Whether it’s carpooling or renting a car, this is a great opportunity to relax, enjoy Malaysian food, and connect with fellow Malaysians in a peaceful, welcoming environment.
