The objective of the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) project is to enhance road safety and driving convenience by developing an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that dynamically adjusts vehicle speed to maintain a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead. Utilizing the AUTOSAR architecture, this system aims to reduce the risk of rear-end collisions and improve traffic flow through precise speed control and reliable decision-making. By leveraging sensor fusion, real-time data processing, and integration with vehicle control systems, the project seeks to contribute to safer, smarter, and more efficient automotive technologies.
