Meet the Teacher!
Mrs. Sanford
I am so blessed to be teaching at Mahaffey Elementary! I was born in San Diego, California and grew up as a Navy brat, moving every few years. However, I am a multi-generational Texan and came up through the ranks in Houston and southeast Texas schools once my dad left the Navy. I received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 2003. I have been married for 24 years to my wonderful husband Bill. We have 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls, ranging in age from 14 to 23. Our family moved to the Klein School District in 2009 and we have been happily installed here since then. My two oldest are married, and we are expecting our first grandchild around Christmas. I am teaching my dream subjects--Science and Math. I enjoy reading, music and spending time with my family. I can't wait to make memories with your kiddos this remarkable 2020 year!

Wednesday Folder- We will send a folder home every Wednesday with graded assignments and notes about the week. Please sign this and return on Thursday.
Conferences- You can make an appointment for a conference on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00-10:30 or on Thursdays from 10:40-11:10.
