Students will be starting this year reading Fiction chapter books.

• theme

• context clue, multiple meaning words, using the dictionary

Writing

The first unit will focus on Narrative writing. Students will select a seed story and go through the writing process.

Grammar

Students will focus on correct capitalization of proper nouns.
