All About Mrs. Fuller

I am a native Texan who was born in Houston and raised in Sugar Land.  My parents now live in a little town called Comfort, in the hill country.  I was the little girl who loved to play school in the garage with my friends.  I was always the teacher, of course.  When I needed to decide on a major in college, it wasn't a hard decision.  I graduated from the University of Houston in 2003.  GO COOGS!! I still enjoy going to games whenever I can.

My husband grew up in Klein and graduated from Klein High School.  I have two boys.  Alex is 13 and loves playing many sports. Grayson is  5 and full of energy.  Most of our weekends and evenings are filled with watching Alex play baseball and football.    As a family, we enjoy spending time with our friends and being outside.

I have been teaching for 20 years, and this will be my eighth year in Klein.  I previously taught in Fort Bend ISD and Alief ISD. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.  I enjoy teaching and watching students learn and discover new things daily.  When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with friends and family.  I participated in Theater when I was in high school and it is still a passion of mine today.  When a Broadway show comes to Houston I jump at the chance to see it.  If I can't go watch the show, I will more than likely be listening to Broadway show tunes.  That is some of my favorite music to belt out (when no one is watching).  I also am a big country music fan.  My husband and I enjoy going to watch local artists perform around Texas.

I am so excited to begin the new school year!  My goal is to instill a love of learning in all my students and help them to be kind humans.  I look forward to watching each and every one of my students grow as learners and leaders this year.
