Kuehnle Counselor Hub

Hello, my name is Erica Villarreal, and I am excited for this school year! This will be my 19th year in education, including 10 years of teaching in Aldine ISD, plus 4 years of teaching right here at Kuehnle. I graduated from Texas A&M University with my Bachelor's degree and I received my M.Ed. in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I have an amazing husband and two beautiful daughters, Adrienne, a Klein High Bearkat, and Natalie, a Kuehnle Koala.

As the counselor of Kuehnle Elementary School, my mission is to empower all students to reach their potential by supporting students' social, emotional, behavioral, academic, and career growth with developmentally appropriate guidance and counseling services. I will partner with others so that all students grow to be kind and respectful, feel connected to others, learn to solve social problems, and know how to manage their feelings. I work with students individually, in small groups, and with entire classes on topics that include social skills, problem solving, bullying and self-esteem. I am available to conference with you should you have a question or concern regarding your child.
