The Sports Medicine Team is on campus to provide injury prevention, immediate care, diagnoses and rehabilitation to all KO athletes. Other supplementary duties include, urine hydration testing, pre-participation physicals and other as needed. Our team is composed of two staff athletic trainers, Tyler Blackburn and Jocelynn Lazard and a Houston Methodist outreach Lyric Owens. We work in conjunction with Sports Medicine Department of Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital to provide the best possible care to our athletes.
