We suggest creating a system for tracking student check-ins/participation.

• • Export rosters for your students as an Excel spreadsheet.

Be mindful of varying your communication. Students may feel left out if they can never make your synchronous sessions.

Asynchronous

  • Email students using their school email. You can find your student's email in the roster you downloaded from Skyward.

  • Please DO NOT use DyKnow to monitor your students as it violates student privacy.

      • Share something you have time to do now--learn to cook, learn to sew, gardening, coding, puzzles, etc. (Discussions, Media Albums, FlipGrid)

      • Explore one of these virtual activities--discover a heritage site, draw with an artist, listen to an audiobook, etc.

Synchronous
