Student voice took center stage at the inaugural KLEIN Talks event this past Saturday. Students exemplified the Profile of a Learner as they spoke courageously about their passions in front of an audience filled with their families, peers, and teachers. These inspiring students brought humor, wit, and their own unique insight as they shared topics of their choice. They stood as brave leaders and spoke of the importance of resilience in the face of obstacles, offered solutions to problems, demonstrated artistic abilities, and challenged preconceived notions.
This student focused event was also supported by the talents of cosmetology students in the CTE program who made speakers stage ready by working on hair and makeup. Additionally, Klein Cain theater and Cain Live students showcased their skills by operating the cameras, lights, and sound in the auditorium as well as taking the role of master of ceremonies for the evening.
Thank you to this amazing group of students who worked onstage and offstage to launch the first ever KLEIN Talks as a student-driven event highlighting their enthusiastic work as pathway explorers, equipped scholars, values-driven leaders, and forever learners.
