Beanstack is an online program for PK-8 students to track their reading/listening minutes and to participate in various challenges. As they participate in challenges, they earn badges. This summer we are encouraging students to read/listen 1000 minutes between June 1 and July 31. That comes out to about 20 minutes per day. Below are directions for logging in, joining a challenge, and tracking minutes in Beanstack. If you experience any issues please submit the Student & Family Tech Support form and we will assist.

Go to the Klein Dashboard
Click on the Dashboard link
Enter your Klein Username and Password
Click on the Beanstack button
You will be automatically logged in
Join a Reading Challenge
Join a Reading Challenge
Log in to Beanstack
Select the Challenges tab
Click the Register for this Challenge button
You are registered and you earn your first badge of the challenge
Track Your Reading Minutes
Track Your Reading Minutes
Log in to Beanstack
Click the Log Reading button in the top left
Select Log Minutes
Select the date you read
Enter the total minutes you read in the Time Spent Reading field
Enter the title and author of the book in the Title and Author fields
Select if you want to provide a review of the book (optional)
Click the Log button at the bottom
