All entries must be postmarked by November 22, 2024. Entry fees for the open show will be $7.00 per bird. (Double show) Double coops will be $14.00. Make Checks payable to Klein FFA Alumni.
If you do not receive a call or text from Becky Brummond by December 1, 2024, assume we did not get your entry. If this is the case, please reach out via email or text.

Show room will be open to receive birds Friday, December 6, from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Saturday, December 7th, the show room will reopen at 7:00am. All birds must be in place by 8:45 am. A.B.A and A.P.A. standards will be used by the judge.
Only judges and show officials are allowed to handle and move birds other than the owner. Handling anyone else's bird without permission from the owner will result in a 1 year ban from the show.
To transport poultry off personal property (such as to shows, sales etc.) in Texas, your flock is required to be pullorium typhoid clean and you must hold a current copy of the certificate. All shows you attend in Texas require you to have a copy of the certificate with you.
PRIOR TO SHOW HAVE YOUR BIRD/S TESTED.
If you do not have a current PT test for your flock there MIGHT be an authorized tester on location. Understand that the test will only be good for this show. Please confirm there will be a tester present before bringing untested birds. Sick birds will be removed from the show room.
Exhibitors will be responsible for feeding and watering their own birds. Water will be available.
TEXAS EXHIBITORS ONLY
Bird sales will be permitted provided the seller has the Texas Animal Health Commission Fowl Registration Permit and current Pullorum-Typhoid annual inspection papers at the sale. Sellers must provide their own sale cages. Crowding will not be permitted. Failure to abide by the above conditions will negate the right to sell. Sick birds will be removed from the show facility. Fee for sales will be 1 pair of birds donated to silent auction.
PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE ANY BIRDS UNTIL RELEASE HAS BEEN ANOUNCED. This will follow the award presentation upon completion of judging.

Entry forms must be marked as per OPEN, BACKYARD, or JUNIOR. All unmarked forms will be judged in the open show.
To compete for bantam DISPLAY, exhibitors must exhibit at least 1 cock, 1 hen, 1 cockerel, 1 pullet and three more birds of the same variety.

This is your chance to demonstrate your showmanship skills and breed knowledge.
Note: Showmanship birds can be shown in Open APA/ABA, Youth, or Backyard Shows. You need to make sure your bird is not about to be judged prior to removing it for the Showmanship event
