Greetings Klein Intermediate Families,

We want to thank you for the efforts and patience shown since the beginning of the school year. We are committed to ensure the safety and educational needs of our students (Klein On Line & Klein On Campus) are being met. Thank you for the continuous support.

Please review this newsletter as it contains helpful information If you have questions or concerns, please continue to reach out to your child’s teachers, counselor and/or grade level administrator.

As we get ready for our Thanksgiving break, we want to say how GRATEFUL we are to have you as part of our FALCON FAMILY. It hasn't been an easy school year but together, we've been able to move forward and support our scholars.

Our teachers are committed to providing high-quality instruction for our scholars and are working harder than ever to teach scholars both in-person and virtually. To assist in this work, one area in need of immediate attention is additional planning and preparation time for our classroom teachers.

We will have the following teacher planning days, which will be a Klein Online remote learning day from home for all scholars

On-campus care will be available for those families who need it. If your child needs on-campus care on December 4, 2020, please complete this

Monitoring the safety, student engagement and academic performance

Zoom Expectations

  • Camera is turned on and face showing

    • If a student does not turn on their camera, they will be moved to the waiting room.

  • Student first and last name are displayed

  • Dressed appropriately

  • School appropriate language verbally and in chat

Daily Attendance Expectation


KOC (Klein On Campus) Students will attend class on campus every day from 8:50 a.m. - 4:35p.m.

KOL (Klein Online) Students will attend each teacher’s Zoom session during live/direct instruction. It is the expectation that students are attending each class every day as if they were on campus. Our school hours are 8:50am to 4:35pm. If students are not attending class during the scheduled class time teachers will reach out to the parent/guardian. Starting tomorrow 11/4/2020 Students will be marked TARDY to their classes.

Attendance Information


School Starts at 8:50 AM All students Klein On Line and Klein On Campus must be log into their first period class by 8:50

If your child will miss a class or a full day, a note must be sent to the Attendance clerk to excuse the absence.

  • All notes to excuse an absence must be submitted to the attendance office within 5 school days.

If you believe an absence(s) has been recorded by mistake, contact your child's teacher prior to contacting an administrator or attendance.

Picture Retake 11/18

Klein On-Line Students can arrive at 7:30 AM and head to the gym to take your picture.

Klein On-Campus Students will be escorted to the gym throughout the day.

Please Note that we are having Pijama Day the same day. If you are participating in the dress up day, bring a change of clothes.

Operation Christmas Child

November is Gratitude Month

This is the 3rd year Klein Intermediate participates in Operation Christmas Child. Together we show our gratitude by giving to others in the holiday season.

Deadline to drop off Boxes is November 20th.
