In 2019, we had over 800 students attend #KleinCodes, showing off a year’s worth of coding skills. They showed off their Scratch skills in 3 different levels of Quick Challenges, competed with an original coding project in the District Challenge, and also faced off in a very intense Rubik’s Cube Challenge.
We would like to thank sponsors HEB and Eric Davis Engineering group for their generous donations in support of the Klein ISD Coding Program.
The Project Lead the Way showcase highlighted some of the amazing STEM programs in Klein, as well as our PLTW Gateway and Launch programs. Water Warriors, Career & Technical Education (CTE), Kleinhacks, Klein in Space, VorTX 3735, and Klein Intermediate’s FTC Robotics team all were there to show how Klein is leading the way in STEM.
Unfortunately, we were unable to hold our annual #KleinCodes event in April of 2020 due to COVID-19, but we cannot wait to see what our AMAZING coders come up with in 2020-2021!
