Musical Theatre is for students who want to train as well-rounded musical performers and learn more about the craft. Students study vocal technique, acting for musical theatre, dance, and audition skills. This class requires an audition and students must also be enrolled in another Theatre, Choir or Dance course. Theatre Production is for both actors and technicians who are seriously involved in theatre. You will use your time not only to learn new skills, but to work heavily on the current production - rehearse, design, build, perform, and more! Students from this class will make up the UIL One Act Play company. This class includes mandatory after-school rehearsals and requires an audition/interview. Technical theatre students learn an introduction to lighting, sound, set construction, props, costumes, and much more! There is no after-school commitment for this course.

Theatre Management introduces students to the essential responsibilities of running a performing arts venue. Students learn skills such as equipment upkeep, venue maintenance, client communication, scheduling and event execution while operating a theater space. This class is open to Juniors and Seniors who have taken 2 years of Theatre, requires an interview and students must also be enrolled in another Theatre course. Click here for interview information.
