PSAT Information:
PSAT/NMSQT stands for Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It's a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT Test. It also gives students a chance to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) scholarship programs when they take it in their junior year. The PSAT/NMSQT measures critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, and writing skills. You have developed these skills over many years, both in and out of school. This test does not require you to recall specific facts from your classes. 9th, 10th, and 11th grade KCHS students take the PSAT test. PSAT/NMSQT Official Student Guides will be passed out during lunches prior to testing.

Homeschool Students
10th and 11th grade Homeschool students in a homeschool program are eligible to take the PSAT/NMSQT on October 25th at Klein Collins High School if they live within Klein Collin's attendance zone. Please fill out this form no later than October 3rd. There is no fee to take the exam. Residency in the Klein Collins attendance zone will be confirmed prior to testing.
ID Requirements:
Form 1: Government Issued Photo ID with qualifying address
Form 2: Lease agreement or Light, Water, or Gas bill with same address as Photo ID
