The Klein High School Athletic Training Program's mission is to provide the best medical care for student-athletes. This is done through proper preventative care, emergency care, injury diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. We also provide an opportunity for athletic training students to develop knowledge and skills related to sports medicine; thus providing career pathways for students. Our program strives to meet these expectations to positively represent our program, athletics teams and school.
The athletic training program is an elite program with limited number of students allowed each year. Because of our small program size, it truly becomes a tight knit group of students who spend a lot of hours together. This is a perfect program for students who are interested in the medical field, enjoy sports and are interested in gaining knowledge about athletic training. Student athletic trainers will be required to work after school, weekends and holidays to assist in covering practices and games (home and away). If this sounds interesting to you, please come see us in room 826 to discuss your future in the program.
