A Landscape

is an area of land as one can see it. A landscape can include land-forms, flora (plants), fauna (animals) and human elements, for example human activity or things that are man made like houses. Artists paint, draw, print and sculpt landscapes.

Art Challenge#3: Laundry Landscape

Unleash your creativity with your laundry!!!! You read that right- YOUR LAUNDRY!!!

Brainstorm different types of “scapes”:

• Landscape

• Seascape

• Cityscape

• Riverscape

• Skyscape

You could even think of the details:

• Castles

• Trees

• Animals

• Clouds

Steps:

1. Once you have decided your “scape” start thinking of the colors you need. A sketch might be helpful!

2. Pick clothes that have the colors that you want.

3. Arrange your background color first then start overlapping the other pieces.

4. Finish with the details!

5. Take a photo or sketch out your finished product.

6. Show a family member or send to your teacher.

7. MOST IMPORTANT-PUT ALL CLOTHES BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM:)
