Hofius School Counselors

My name is Lisa Algaze and I am the 8th Grade Lead Counselor. I am starting my 17th year as a school counselor. I began my career in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where I served as a high school counselor for 3 years. I moved to The Woodlands, Texas in 2007 and was a high school counselor in Conroe ISD until I joined the Klein family 3 years ago to open the beautiful Hofius campus. My husband is an associate principal at a high school in Conroe ISD and together we have two boys who keep us very busy!

My name is Sasha Kotchavar and I am the 7th Grade Counselor. I am so excited to be starting my 8th year in education and 3rd year at Hofius Intermediate. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University and my Master's degree from Lamar University. I am currently completing my Licensed Professional Counseling Internship through Lamar University. I taught reading and writing in Spring ISD and Conroe ISD before joining the wonderful Klein Family as a counselor. Serving students, staff, families, and our community is my passion. I look forward to an amazing year full of growth, understanding, and commitment to my passion.

My name is Anne Francis and I am the 6th Grade Counselor. This will be my 35th year in education. I am starting my 16th year in Klein and my 3rd year as a Hofius counselor. Before joining the Klein family, I worked in Aldine ISD for 19 years as a second grade teacher and school counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A & M University and my Master of Education degree from Sam Houston State University. I have lived in the Klein community for over 32 years. I truly enjoy working with kids and can not wait to meet my new 6th graders.
